City tour of Yerevan. It is a city founded in 782 B.C., being one of the oldest cities in the world.
During the tour you will see the Republic Square, Government House, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Post Office, the National Art Gallery.
Along with all the main monuments of the capital you will see the "Cat Statue" by the famous sculptor Fernando Botero located in the open-air museum and modern art center Cafesjian in Cascada.
Climb the Waterfall to enjoy the panoramic view of Yerevan, as well as visit the Opera House.
Exit to Echmiadzin.
Visit the temple ruins of Zvartnots (heavenly angels). It is the pearl of 7th century architecture, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Return to Yerevan. Dinner and accommodation.

Yerevan - Garni - Geghard- Yerevan

Departure to Garni. Today we walk towards the basalt columns called Symphony of Stones.
Garni pagan temple view, which was built in the 1st century AD by King Tiridates I of Armenia and was probably dedicated to the Hellenistic god Mithras.
Departure to the monastery of Geghard declared World Heritage by UNESCO.

Day 4
Ereván – Khor Virap – Noravank – Goris
Breakfast.
Departure to the monastery of Khor - Virap, deep dungeon (4th-17th centuries) 45 km. from Yerevan.
Spectacular views of the biblical mountain Ararat, where he anchored the ark of Noah after the Flood.
Visit to the monastery Noravank - 12th century religious and cultural center. Noravank ("New Monastery") is 122km from Yerevan and is located in an inaccessible place that includes all the stunning nature. The monastery is located in the picturesque gorge of the tributary of the river Arpá, on a cliff between amazing red rocks that enchant with its beauty and uniqueness.

Day 5
Goris – Kndzoresk – Tatev – Goris
Breakfast.
Excursion to Khndzoresk, a village of many old caves that are waiting to be discovered. Here is the suspension bridge of Khndzoresk, which has a total length of 160 meters and rises 63 meters above the ground.
Departure to Tatev (UNESCO World Heritage). Here has been built the longest cable car in the world (5.7m) known as Wings of Tatev, ie the Wings of the Tatev.
Departure to lake Sevan through Selim pass, visiting caravanserai (s. XIV). Caravanero of Selim was built in 1332 by Prince Chesar Orbelian, according to the Armenian and Arab inscription, this used to be an important trade center on the famous Silk Road.

Dilijan – Goshavank – Yenokavan
Breakfast.
Departure to Lake Parz. Our trail starts from Lake Parz, a small picturesque lake in the highlands of Dilijan. From here we will walk through lush and dense forests, reaching the village Gosh. We finished our walk in the medieval monastery of Goshavank, located on the right side of the river Getik.
Departure to Yenokavan is a village and summer resort in the municipality of Ijevan in the Tavush province of Armenia.

Day 8
Yenokavan – Fioletovo – Dzoraget
Breakfast.
We visited a small village of molocanes (Fioletovo) where we will have the opportunity to enjoy tea "samоvar" and sweets of the Molocins, who are a national minority derived from Russia and who did not accept orthodox Christianity, because they oppose the veneration of icons. They are thus known because they are forbidden to taste alcohol and because formerly they drank milk in a ritual way on Wednesdays and Fridays (molokan means "milk drinker"), despite the fasts imposed by the Orthodox.
Departure to the architectural complexes of Sanahin (966 d.C) and Haghpat (976 AD), which are some of the outstanding works of medieval Armenian architecture and are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Return to Dzoraget.

Day 10
Dzoraget –Fortaleza de Amberd – Karmravor – Ereván
Breakfast.
We start the hike to the Amberd fortress of the 9th century, 6 km from the village of Byurakan, which is halfway to Mount Aragats, at the height of 2300m. The fortress is located in a rock layer formed by Amberd and Arkhashen.
Departure to Ashtarak (meaning "tower" in Armenian).
We visited one of the smaller churches - Karmravor.
Return to Yerevan.

Day 11
Matenadaran – Tsisternakaberd
Breakfast.
Visit to Matenadaran - depository of manuscripts containing historical documents from all over Europe and Asia over many centuries. Also here is the first copy of the Bible in Armenia and the Gospels that fascinate with its miniatures.
View of Tsitsernakaberd, dedicated to victims of the Armenian genocide. In 1995, a small circular underground museum was opened next to the monument, where you can appreciate and learn basic information about the events of 1915.
As a highlight, we climb the steps of the Cascada area to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the mythical Mount Ararat will end up confirming our good start on a hiking route through this beautiful country.

Optional: In the morning we leave for Lake Kari. We started hiking towards the southern peak above sea level of Mount Aragats, which with its 4,095 meters stands as the highest mountain in Armenia. Aragats is myth and reality, famous as the "double" of the other great mountain Ararat, Even in the old days myths intertwine in the endless battle between the fire-breathing dragon from these two towering volcanoes. We descend to Lake Kari.
