Transfer to border Chernyaevka. After all the formalities at the border we continue towards the city of Turkestan (270km, approximately 3.5 hours).
Arrival at Turquestan.
Lunch at local coffee shop.
Excursion through the city of Turkestan: The mausoleum of Khodja Ahmet Yassawí (UNESCO HERITAGE). The Khodja Ahmet Yassawi complex was built in the late 14th century and since then it is one of very important pilgrimage sites in Islam.
Free time in a modern resort Karavansaray Turkestan.
This is the only resort in Central Asia, whose architecture is made in the style of an oriental fairy tale. Here guests can learn more about the history of Turkestan, outstanding historical figures, national sports and handicrafts.
Transfer to hotel and accommodation. Check in. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning we go to Shymkent. Transfer to the ruins of the ancient city of Otrar (also called Farab) was an important shopping center as it was located at the intersection of the caravans of the Great Silk Road and birthplace of the great medieval philosopher Abu Nasr al-Farabi. The first settlement was established in the 1st century B.C. by the Kangly (Kangju Empire). Otrar became a large oasis formed by several cities: Altyntobe, Dzhalpak-tobe, Kuyuk-Mardan-tobe and Pchakchi-tobe. During the 10th-12th centuries it was its peak of prosperity, but in 219 it fell under the attack of Genghis Khan’s army and was destroyed.
Lunch in local restaurant.
Afterwards we will make a tour of the city visiting the History Museum, the Alley of Memories in Shanshi Park, the Museum of the Victims of Political Repression and the Ethnological Museum.
18:30 Transfer to the airport.
20:40 Flight to Almaty.
22:05 Arrival in Almaty. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Visit the Park of 28 Guardians of Panfilov, Cathedral of the Ascension and the Museum of National Musical Instruments. In the museum’s collection are present more than 1000 objects, including rare objects of the seventeenth century. In total there are 60 types of national instruments: kobyz, dombra, syldyrmak (a kind of tambourine) and other national instruments.
To feel the true spirit of the city, its atmosphere, flavors and colors you must visit the Green Bazaar. Participate in the tasting of local delicacies including mare’s milk and camel. Transfer to the mountains.
Transfer to Medeo Gorge (25 km from the city).
Medeo - the world’s tallest skating stadium and one of the city’s most important attractions. Tourists will climb the cable car (total length 6200 m) to the Shymbulak Ski Resort - which is located in the picturesque valley of Trans-Ili Alatau at the height of 2200 m above sea level.

It is a very nice place with fresh air and glaciers at the summit. Tourists will climb by cable car to the Pico de Talgar.
We continue our tour of the Kok-Tobe Park. It is one of the main attractions of Almaty that is located on the slopes of the mountain of the same name and rises to 1130 meters above the city. It is a landscaped area with picturesque terraces and groves. A wonderful panorama of the mountains and the city opens from its viewpoints.
